Transparent transportation costs

Products under warranty:
As of January 1, 2007 WYLER AG will
absorb transportation costs to and
from Switzerland for products
showing errors during the warranty
period

WYLER is only absorbing the
transportation cost and the
cost to import the
instrument into Switzerland.

Our representatives will
absorb the cost of
re-importing the instrument
into their country! They
will be responsible for
defining the paperwork to
ensure a cost-efficient
process considering your
local rules and regulations!

In countries where we WYLER
does not have a
representative, the cost for
re-importing the instrument
into the country has to be
absorbed by the customer
-
The final decision whether
or whether not a specific
case is a justified warranty
remains with WYLER
-
Products
no longer under warranty
If a product
gets defective after the
warranty period the customer has
of course to pay for
transportation. In order to
reduce distance to WYLER we
would like to make sure that a
customer from Asia or from South
America has the same short
“distance” to WYLER (in terms of
transportation costs) as a
European customer.

Measuring
systems are becoming more and more
complex and are therefore subject to
continuous supervision in respect of
quality and reliability. For this
purpose WYLER SWITZERLAND offers the
option of a MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
with the purchase of new
instruments.
The MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
offers the following services to the
customer:

Complete inspection and
re-adjustment of the instrument
/ system in a yearly interval as
well as remedy of defaults
reported by the customer
-
The
scope of delivery includes an
internationally recognised
Calibration Certificate SCS for
the entire system confirming the
performance after the service
intervention. Traceable
certificates SCS are issued
according our accreditation as a
calibration laboratory by the
Swiss authorities
-
Highest priority for repair
works
-
Technical enhancements and
modifications published by
WYLER, if this is considered
suitable
The
MAINTENANCE CONTRACT
does not include:
-
Costs for packing and transport
of the instrument(s) from the
customer to WYLER and back,
neither directly or through the
WYLER distribution partner
-
Repair of instruments modified
or repaired by other than WYLER
staff or persons duly authorised
by WYLER, particularly when such
interventions render repair or
adjustment works more difficult
-
Repair of instruments modified,
extended or damaged by using
accessories not deli vered
or authorised by WYLER
-
Repair or replacement of parts,
which have not been delivered or
authorised by WYLER for the
respective instrument, as well
as the supplementary working
hours to determine the necessity
of such works
-
Repair of electrical or
mechanical equipment or
instruments, including external
power supply units, apart from
accessories delivered or
authorised by WYLER
-
Instruments damaged due to other
reasons than normal use,
particularly damages caused by
transport, unsuitable handling
and/or operation, third party
intervention or force majeure
(e.g. fire, water, explosion or
lightning-stroke)
