ALIGNMENT OF A MOVABLE 3D MEASURING MACHINE

The in-process control on a 3D measuring machine must be improved. The parts and elements to be checked, should not have to be moved to the quality assurance lab but should be controlled at the production line. To solve this requirement, the 3D machine must be built in such a way that it can be moved to the production line.

 

Measuring task:

In order to achieve the required accuracy, the measuring machine must be realigned after each transport. This process should be done efficiently.

production, after mounting the robot, but also after the 

installation at customer site. These offsets are then to be known and compensated by the process control system.
