Measuring task / Goal:
The calibration of granite master squares should be performed as easily and efficiently as possible. The equipment used should offer a good cost-benefit relationship and requirements regarding the qualification of staff should be as moderate as possible, enabling workshop staff to easily make use of the system.

MEASURING AND CALIBRATION LABORATORY

Measuring task:
On several measuring machines some pre-set inclinations must periodically be checked and re-adjusted if necessary.
Particularly on the notched-bar impact testing machine the set angle of the hammer is of direct influence on the possibility to obtain a reliable measuring result. This angle check can easily be done with a CLINOTRONIC and is applied by many calibration labs.

RADIO ONCOLOG / CALIBRATION ON LINAC MECHANICS

Measuring task / Goal:
The small dimensions (100x75x30 mm) and the light weight (485 Gramm) together with the 4 precise measuring bases situated around the periphery, make the CLINOTRONIC Plus the ideal instrument for the calibration task. In order to calibrate the display of the gantry angle, the true angles at the 4 major gantry coordinates (180° / 90° / 0° / 270° / 180°) must be measured. For the calibration of the collimator rotation readout, the true angles at 45° and at 315° are to be measured. The CLINOTRONIC Plus can also be used to eliminate roll of the couch and to assure that phantoms are precisely horizontal.
