MINILEVEL NT

The inclination measuring instrument MINILEVEL NT is designed for precision measurements of small angles. Such measurements are particularly flatness measurements on surface plates or the measuring of geometrical features on machines of all kind. The sealed and nitrogen filled sensor cell allows perfect applications even under extremely difficult environmental conditions with high air humidity or in the rough environment of a workshop.

Apart from the display, MINILEVEL NT also offers an easily comprehensive menu. Not only can the measuring range be switched, but also the displayed value can be changed manually (in order to change the zero offset).


On the display you can see the actual measuring value in [μm/m] respectively in [arcsec], the measuring unit in use as well as the measuring range selected.

MEASURING - CALIBRATION / FLATNESS MEASUREMENT, ANGLES

Measuring task / Goal:
The calibration of granite master squares should be performed as easily and efficiently as possible. The equipment used should offer a good cost-benefit relationship and requirements regarding the qualification of staff should be as moderate as possible, enabling workshop staff to easily make use of the system.

MEASUREMENT OF THE ABSOLUTE POSITION OF A GUIDEWAY

Measuring task / Goal:
For a guideway not only its straightness but also its deviation from the horizontal plane shall be measured. Furthermore it should be determined where and how much should be corrected to adjust the guideway horizontally.

LARGE GRINDING MACHINE WITH FLAT GUIDEWAYS

Measuring task / Goal:

On a surface grinding machine with 18-meter-long guideways set 1.3m apart, the co-parallelism of the two guideways has to be checked periodically. The guideways have to be within a plane with a maximum tolerance (error) of less than 0.1 mm. The complete machine and its guideways can be adjusted by means of supporting screws placed at 750 mm intervals.

Measuring task / Goal:
The flatness of a circular support with 2.3m diameter has to be measured.

MEASUREMENT OF A CIRCLE ON A ROUND TABLE OF A GRINDING MACHINE

Measuring task / Goal:

The flatness of a rotating table of a grinding machine with a diameter of
3200 mm has to be measured. Thereby only the flatness of a circle has to be measured and not the whole table.

MEASUREMENT OF PITCH AND ROLL ON A GRINDING MACHINE

Measuring task / Goal:

On a large surface grinding machine with guide ways with a length of 18m and a distance of 1.3 m pitch and roll have to be checked regularly. The maximum tolerance is 0.1 mm/m.

MEASUREMENT OF THE RECTANGULARITY OF THE HEAD OF A ROUND TABLE GRINDING MACHINE

Measuring task / Goal:

The rectangularity of the axis of a grinding head of large grinding machine in relation to the support of a round table with a diameter of 3200 mm has to be measured. Based on the results the inclination of the head has to be adjusted.

DAM MONITORING

Measuring task / Goal:

The inclination and inclination change of a dam is monitored and put in relation to climatic conditions and fill level of the dam. The sensors are mounted permanently and have an excellent zero point stability. The measured values are evaluated in a central station about 10km ( 6 miles ) away.
